2008 Site Descriptions

CTRA/NARCONN is privileged to have the use of the following field:

Hurley, New York

Located about 10 minutes south west of Kingston, NY is Hurley, NY. The field is located on a large private farm.

Waiver: 5,000' AGL (this site is located near a very busy air corridor)
Time: 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Motor Limit: "K" motors, subject to conditions and the approval of the Prefect and Range Safety Officer. Must conform to altitude limit.
Weight Limit: There is no stated weight limit. Rockets must be within safety limits of flight profile.

Launch Fee: $10.00

Children fly for free on the low power pads.

NOTE: AGL = Above Ground Level
